Pride Month kicks off this weekend and the Nike Air Max 720 “Be True” will partake in celebrating the LGBTQ community. This variation of the silhouette flaunts a rainbow gradient upper as a nod to Gilbert Baker, the designer of the rainbow flag, as it’s contrasted with black mesh/plastic overlays, laces, lining and tongues. Finishing details include “BETRUE” printed in white on the heel pull tabs and Gilbert Baker’s signature emblazoned on the heel of the clear Air Max 720 sole.
We are now adding yet another silhouette to Nike’s upcoming women’s World Cup Collection inspired by the host country of France. This time around it’s the Nike Air Max 720.
This Nike Air Max 720 starts off with a heavenly white hue all throughout the upper which takes on a mesh construction. The signature plastic overlays have also been done in white to keep things tonal. The outstanding feature on this sneaker is the polka dot print that can be seen on the Air Max sole unit as well as on the heel tab. Additional details include Metallic Red Bronze detailing on the tongue branding, blue Nike Swoosh branding above the midsoles, and the “Nos Differences Nous Unissent” text which translates to Our Differences Unite Us on the medial midsole.
